Which QR code fits your needs?
Static or dynamic describes how you update content. Subscription or lifetime describes how you acquire ViveQode codes and extra features.
Static and dynamic compared
| Feature | Static | Dynamic |
|---|---|---|
| Encoded data | Fixed data, such as a URL | Stable link to managed content |
| Changes after printing | The encoded URL stays fixed. Its web page can change. | Update destination or content in the dashboard |
| Operation | The code itself needs no QR service; a web destination needs hosting. | The managing service must remain available. |
| Analytics | Possible through the destination page; not built into the code | With ViveQode from Creator, depending on the plan |
Subscription or lifetime code?
A ViveQode subscription sets your code limit and features such as editing, scheduling, analytics and team access. Shop purchases provide lifetime codes outside that limit. Extra service features still depend on your current plan, including for lifetime codes.
What happens after cancellation?
Your existing codes remain scannable. After a downgrade, additional subscription codes are frozen with their last content. Lifetime codes retain plain-text editing. Lifetime depends on the ViveQode service continuing to operate.
